Thursday 12/11/08 Deerfield Beach - Day Two

We expected to leave Deerfield Beach this morning, but good ol' Mother Nature had other plans. She sent us SE 20-25 knot winds with gale force wind warnings and thunderstorms to make it even better. Needless to say, we stayed put in Deerfield Beach. We spent the day doing boat stuff and mapping out our course for the next day. The weather looked favorable for traveling on the outside tomorrow, prediction was NW 10-15 with seas of only 2-4 ft, but just in case the weather prediction happen to be off, we checked out the inside course too.

It did rain on and off today, not at all the thunderstorms predicted, but the winds were, so it was a wise decision to stay put. We ventured out around 6pm, in between rain showers, to go to dinner (couldnt cook out due to the rain).
