Headed out of Charleston at 8:00 a.m.. We had a smooth ride for the most part. It was a partly cloudy day but I did manage to work on my tan a little. At 2:30 p.m. we pulled into the Bahia Bleu Morningstar Marina. Fueled up the boat, tied her up and washed the salt off. We did some laundry, both of us had a short nap, then we showered and headed out in search of food. The dock master recommended a place about a block up the road called "Tubby's Tank". The name was a little cause for concern in my opinion, but since it was the only game in town, we decided it was a great place to try! Actually the food was very good. I had the best Rueben sandwich Ive ever had! They fried one of the largest chicken breast Ive ever seen, placed it on a grilled bun and topped it with sauerkraut, 1,000 Island dressing and melted cheese over the entire sandwich....oh my god! I highly recommend this place to everyone.
The next morning, made a trip to the local tackle shop before heading out.
