Sunday 5/31/09 - "A" Dock Baypoint Marina

Our 1st Brunch by the Bay was held on Sunday 5/31/09 at 9:00 a.m.. We gathered under the tree of knowledge (huge tree at the head of A dock) where we set up a Bloody Mary bar that would put any other within a 50 mile radius to shame! There were also Mimosa's available and coffee.

We dined on Rob & Patty's homemade biscuits and gravy, Andy & Carmen's Spanish style eggs, Paul & Jennifer's hashbrown potatoes, Penny & Rick's english muffins, Chip's black peppered thick cut bacon and real country sausage, and Roger & Janice brought a beautiful fruit salad. Bob and Kathy, Keith, Ray and Donnie joined us as well.

But wait there's more..........the brunch lasted on through the day until 8:00 p.m.! We nibbled, drank, laughed (the more alcohol, the more laughing...seem to go hand in hand), some napped, some kept right on going! Later in the afternoon someone set up a TV on the back of their boat and a few wandered over to watch the Nascar race. Around 4pm we cooked again! This time we grilled Italian Sausages with onions and peppers and had buns, chips, potatoe salad and coleslaw! Now of course we have changed over to beer....because bloody mary's don't go as well with Italian Sausage.

What a day! Needless to say, it was very quiet around A Dock on Monday.....
Did I mention that this same crowd partied on Friday night (bon voyage for Rudy), and on Saturday night???
